Joni's post about live readings made me think of this clip from a recent season of Dr. Who. I am not normally a sci fi fan, but Mark reeled me in one Saturday night a few weeks ago, and I haven't stopped watching since. This brief clip makes me think of how popular public readings were in Dickens' day, and how the role of the author has changed since.
